About the Journal

Revista de divulgación científica iBIO is a quarterly publication that publishes short popular science articles that have biotechnology and bioprocesses as their central axis. Topics include:

• Biotechnology engineering
• Environmental biotechnology
• Pharmaceutical biotechnology
• Biomedical engineering
• Food biotechnology
• Biochemical engineering
• Bioprocesses
• Bioengineering

Collaborations are received from technicians, researchers, administrators, students, representatives of scientific-based companies, popularizers and scientific journalists from any national or international institution.
The editors will consider articles for publication based on their current relevance to biotechnology and bioprocesses, their contribution to the dissemination of scientific work and their ability to communicate in a brief and understandable way for an audience at the high school, higher education and postgraduate levels. All articles will be subject to peer review.

Revista de divulgación científica iBIO maintains a continuous submission system for manuscripts, allowing contributions to be submitted at any time throughout the year. Likewise, the journal follows a continuous publication model, through which accepted articles are published as soon as they complete the editorial process.
