The Revista de divulgación científica iBIO is a non-profit initiative, independent of any institute, university or government. Both editorial management and peer review are carried out voluntarily with the conviction that access to scientifically based knowledge is a right for everyone.

What are your donations used for?
Due to the fact that the Revista de divulgación científica iBIO does not belong to any institution, we do not have the resources to maintain and grow this space.
Your donation allows free access to scientific knowledge by allowing us to cover the costs of maintaining our website, the domain and security certificates, in addition to the annual procedures before the National Copyright Institute.
Furthermore, any surplus raised through your donations will be used to improve and promote the magazine, which helps your publications reach more people.
Use of donations from the January-July 2024 period
Of the 100% collected in this period:
-24% was used to renew the domain of the website.
-77% was used to acquire the security certificate for the website, with which you can access all our content from any location, without problems with firewalls and safely.
Use of donations from the August 2024-January 2025 period
Of the 100% collected in this period:
-73% was used for the Renewal of exclusive use rights to INDAUTOR.
-13% was used to advertise the Revista de divulgación iBIO and the articles published in it.
-11% remains in the journal's account.
Use of donations from the February 2025-August 2025 period
100% of the funds raised during this period were saved, since expenses for domain renewal and web hosting are expected on the next period.
